Lace and leather

8:28 | October 15, 2013

I have decided that it’s time for leather pants! We’re in the middle of October so for me it is fall – it really isn’t in L.A though (around 90 degrees here) so I’m cooling down with some ice coffee.

Of course I had to add some lace with the leather! I feel like a dark angel in this bra from Mila London! It’s seriously sexy though.. Haha, I didn’t know when I ordered it from Shopbop (link) but it actually splits down the middle of the cups.. So it’s not really meant to be worn anywhere else than in the bedroom with your bf or hubby, haha. But I love my lacy bras so I’m wearing another one underneath since I don’t really do nip slips.

Absolutely adore these pants! They are a total rip off from Mango – looks exactly like the R13’s. I had a pair of R13’s before but they were way to big so had to sell them. Died of happiness when I saw these in Mango a couple of weeks ago since I don’t really think the R13’s are worth the 800 dollar price tag.

The whole outfit:

Pants: Mango

T-shirt: Pull & Bear

Shoes: Nicholas

Sunglasses: Yves Saint Laurent

Bag: Givenchy antigona

Roulette obsession

7:09 | September 23, 2013

Some pictures from the other day. Jeans on jeans and red lips again – I am obsessed now.

Don’t think you have ever seen me in low heeled shoes as much as now? Wasn’t even going to bring my converse here, but decided last minute to bring my white and black ones. Glad I did. Works perfect when you are not doing anything special.

The outfit

Shoes: Converse

Shorts: Les Temps de Cerises

Shirt: Zara

Sunglasses: Yves Saint Laurent

Loving my new jeans shirt from Zara. I have a lot of jeans shirts but all of them are oversized. Recently I discovered the oversized look doesn’t really suit me, haha. So I am going for more slim fitting things now.

Even on those days

8:22 | September 22, 2013

This day have not been the best. Not even Halloween decorations can cheer me up (and I love american holiday decorations.) So I decided to make fajitas to eat my feelings.

But cooking is not as fun when the person you want to stab isn’t in the kitchen. After dinner I have been working on a new project which I have been doing all week. Been wanting to do this for so long and now it finally feels like the time is right for it. You should focus on the things that makes you happy. Even on the days you have spent the morning crying in the shower.

Hint of red

8:05 | September 19, 2013

Went looking for shoes today again. This time a pair of cowboy boots. Didn’t find anything I liked though. And I didn’t bring my camera so snapped some quick photos when I came back home before the sun went down. I was wearing one of my favorite tops from 10 crosby Derek Lam and my YSL shades.

By the way, I get a lot of questions about what camera my photos are taken with – most of them are taken with my Canon 7D. The lens I use the most is Canon EF 50MM f/1.4 USM. The pictures below are taken with my other camera which is a smaller one – Canon G11.

Decided to go with my red lipstick today (Dior roulette red.) Haha, for me this is kind of a big deal since I never really change my make up look, I almost always wear the same. Usually I never use red lipstick but for some reason I really like it at the moment. Think I want to buy a matte one though. This one from Dior can get a little shiny, not really into that unless it’s a more neutral color.

PS: And yes I will do a post about my make up. I get a lot of questions about that as well, haha.

I love..

… AQUAZZURA!

AND this tanned leather chair AND my Miriam Salat cuff AND I LOVE L.A! Haha, overly excited today. Any way of course I ended up getting the black aquazzuras. Decided I needed them for my first night here. Really need to get a bag though. A problem I have is that every month I tell myself I should buy a bag (because I need bags) but I always ending up buying shoes and sunglasses instead. I hate carrying bags around. And I hate buying them even more. They are so expensive and boring. Shoes are much more fun! I’m definitely a shoe-gal! ;)

T-shirt: Made in the shade
