You can’t live the high life without the high heels. And that’s an absolute truth. If you want better things in life you have to be better and that goes for how you dress to. And like Edith Heed said in her book How to dress for success: You can be anything you want in life if you dress for it.
I love these heels from DVF you can get them here.
THE OTHER DAY when we drove out to Malibu we had some drinks at Nobu which is beautifully located here. Such a pretty place! Last time I was out here we were at a place called Moonshadows, which is nice also. Definitely a must go if you are ever in L.A.

YESTERDAY WAS MY new (but very dear) friend’s Charlene’s Birthday! And it was such a perfect and hot day in L.A yesterday. So naturally I had to dress up for the occasion. Life is too short not to be your most loveliest self! So I wore an old dress I bought at Armani Exchange on my first visit to London when I was 18. So it’s been in my closet for a while this one – it’s just so cute and lovely! I was wearing it during the day when we went out to Malibu again. It fit beautifully in with the setting of the Ralph Lauren store in Malibu Country Mart. Such a beautiful little yard they have there! And Malibu Country Mart is also a great place to go shopping in L.A, good boutique stores and beautiful environments.
IT HAS BEEN RAINING so bad ever since I got to L.A. But finally the sun is here! Perfect weather for a cabriolet ride out to Malibu for some Sangria and sun in my face! Nothing like it. I was wearing some sweats (what else when you’re in L.A?) Pants from H&M, sunglasses from YSL, top from 10 Crosby Derek Lam and Giuseppe Zanotti sneakers with my Givenchy antigona bag.
