faceHERE IT IS! The post I should have done almost a year ago: My make up routine! I was planning to make something more fun out of it than this but this will have to due before some of you kill me. So these are the products I wear almost all day every day no matter what I do. The only thing I do differently is adding or changing some of it depending on occasion or time of year. Like change the lipstick or adding some blush, highlighter, eyeshadow or shimmering powder for a more sun kissed look.

To start I use a tinted base from Glo-minerals in the shade honey. I use this more or less sense it’s shimmery, but the great thing with this product is that it adds shimmer without adding glitter so it basically works every day. To cover up red spots I use a full coverage concealer from Marc Jacobs in the shade Young.

I only use powder. I normally never wear foundation, especially not for every day. Mineral powder is good because it feels light on the skin and you can choose what coverage you want depending on the brush. I use Bare Minerals powder in the shades RD50 and R310. I use 2 different ones because I always do contouring. So I put the lighter one under my eyes, on my nose and the center of my forehead and then I blend everything out with the darker shade. I use the full coverage brush and the precision face brush from Bare Minerals for a medium to full coverage. If I want my make up to have very light coverage I only use a kabuki brush. I always put some extra contouring for my cheek bones using the Ita brush from Nars and I use a darker shade of my Chanel healthy glow sheer powder for this. If I want to look more tanned I just sweep this over the darker contoured parts of my face with a kabuki brush.

I always wear a little bit of eyeliner in a dark brown color (black is to harsh for me for day wear) I use Chanel stylo Yeux Waterproof eyeliner in the shade Santal. On my lips I either wear Chanel in the shade Chic or my new favorite lip liner (best color since it’s not redish brown at all) Stone from Mac. Or I wear them both together.

Am I the only one?

IMG_3316I LOVE OVERSIZED clutch bags.. Can’t handle small ones, unless it is like a very very fancy affair. Just posted this 3.1 Phillip Lim one on my Instagram account – link to it here.

By the way – am I the only woman doing this with my new dresses to know if they’ll look good when I’m 3 months pregnant?
